Open Letter - David Rosenblatt, Sarigim, Israel

Dear neighbor,

My name is David and I live in Israel, thirty minutes (or one minute
rocket time) from you, in a beautiful house by the woods. I hope
someday to have you over for a cup of tea. We have a lovely view from
the balcony. On a clear day we can see our jets bombing your
neighborhood.

I think it's time we had a heart to heart. It's time you knew the
truth. After all, what are neighbors for? You might have wondered why
both you and your parents were born in a refugee camp. Why is it that
even though we live only 30 minutes apart, I live in prosperity and
you live in poverty and filth? Why you live in despair and hatred
while we live in hope and love.

Here is the truth, neighbor:

There really was a Holocaust. I realize you've been taught
otherwise. I know, that ever since you were a small child you've been
told that the Holocaust is something the Jews fabricated to justify
taking your land. Well, dear citizen of Gaza, it really happened. Not
very long ago. It happened. And guess what? It's NEVER going to happen
again. The time in history when Jews were led to slaughter,
persecuted, raped and pillaged is over and will never recur. Never.
Now we have our own country. Now we have the bombs. We will never
forget what was done to our people and you better not either.

We don't hate you. We don't hate anyone. Jews are a peaceful people.
We do not want your land. We don't want oil. We don't want to rape
your women or murder your children. We never tried to force our
religion on anyone. Our eternal capital, Jerusalem, is open to all
faiths to love and to worship. We treat your Arab brothers who live
among us as equals. Our hand has been extended to peace with our
neighbors since day one. We have proven this time and time again
through numerous negotiations and extensive compromise.

We ask only for one thing. Leave us in peace. That's right. We have
no other demands. Just leave us in peace. It's as simple as that. If
you don't, we will fight back ferociously and mercilessly. We will
destroy your homes and your cities. We will make your miserable lives
even more miserable. If you don't want this to happen anymore, leave
us in peace.

Our soldiers are not motivated by hate but by determination. We
embrace life and will do anything to preserve it. However, we will
kill and die to protect our land and our way of life. That's what they
should be teaching in your schools instead of useless lies.

A terrorist is a terrorist. Sorry to be the one to break the news,
but it's about time somebody told you that a terrorist is nothing more
than a coward. Not a hero. Not a Shahid. There is nothing heroic in
blowing yourself up amongst a crowd of woman and children. Anybody can
do it. Anybody can hide inside a school or a mosque and blindly fire
rockets into cities, hoping to kill as many babies as possible. There
is nothing courageous or admirable in these acts of cruelty. To take
pride in an act of terror is pitiful and pathetic. I know you've been
raised to believe the contrary, but it is a lie. I have seen how your
children are taught to commit suicide. How your suicide bombers are
glorified. This is tragically sad. A real hero faces his enemy and
doesn't hide in schools and hospitals. A real hero protects his people
and will die for them but not among them.

Israel exists and it belongs to the Jewish People. I've seen your
school books. I know that Israel has been omitted from your maps.
Contrary to what you've been told, the State of Israel really does
exist. Look outside your window. We are here and we are not going
anywhere. Dear Palestinian neighbor, it's time to deal with the facts.
We love our beautiful little country. We will protect it with our
lives. You are not getting it. This was explained to you in 1948. You
got your country and we got ours. Your arrogant and stupid leaders
promised you that you will get the whole thing. Thousands of lives
have been lost for nothing. It's NEVER going to happen! While you have
been foolishly drooling over our land instead of nurturing your own,
we have built one of the most beautiful and successful countries on
Earth. We have done it not to spite our greedy neighbors, but rather
in spite of them. We've planted forests and quenched the desert. We've
drained wetlands and cultivated fields. We built universities, opera
houses, superhighways, hospitals, skyscrapers and stadiums. We have
millions of refugees, but no refugee camps.

You could do the same. Focus on what you have and not on what you
will never have. It takes love, hard work and determination. We can
help. We have experts and scientists helping developing nations across
the globe. Accept the facts, lay down your weapons and join us in
making this great region of the planet even greater.

Remember, we're neighbors.

"Sometimes We See [Mubarak] Obeying America, And Sometimes We See That He Is an Ally of Israel"

"Sometimes We See [Mubarak] Obeying America, And Sometimes We See That He Is an Ally of Israel" from http://www.memri.org/
Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati: "God bless the President of Venezuela, who enthusiastically and courageously expelled the Israeli ambassador. Shame on the useless Arab rulers who, unlike Venezuela – which is not even an Islamic country – have not severed political ties [with Israel]. Does this cost you anything? Are you afraid of America? You should be afraid, because you lack faith and courage, and your peoples have no respect for you. So why shouldn’t you be afraid? You fear for your positions. You should be afraid.

"But come and join your people. In every country, the people are ready... Of course, the worst are Saudi Arabia and Egypt, because they are the great regional powers.

"When a demonstration took place somewhere in Saudi Arabia, it was silenced. They do not give people room to breathe there. At least in Egypt, there were some [demonstrations], but even there, silence rules. Sometimes we see [Mubarak] obeying America, and sometimes, we see that he is an ally of Israel.

"What is left for the people to do? They should fear the day when the people’s revolution, the rage of God, and the rage of the people grab them by their clothes and drag them down to collapse." [...]

"People Are Truly Amazed When They Watch a President [Obama]... Saying: 'My Only Concern is to Find a Dog For My Daughter'"
"The world is on a steep decline towards collapse. People are truly amazed when they watch a president [Obama] laughing and saying: 'My only concern is to find a dog for my daughter.' Phooey on you and those who voted for you! Is this how it should be? A president is not ashamed to be thinking about a dog, rather than about [the Israeli] foreign minister? This is how it is – they want to rule the world."

"Every Time I See That Woman’s [Livni's] Face, I Wish Somebody Would 'Waste' a Bullet On Her"
"On the other hand, every time I see that woman’s face, I wish somebody would 'waste' a bullet on her. I watched her say... First, she goes and shakes hands with the Egyptian president. Shame on him for shaking a woman’s hand – especially an enemy.

[...]

"I hope that the day will come – as conveyed in a message by our dear leader – when we all celebrate the victory of Hamas in Jerusalem, God willing."

Egyptian Cleric Safwat Higazi Responds to MEMRI: "Yes, I Am An Antisemite"; If Not for the Arab Rulers, "We Would Devour [The Jews] With Our Teeth"; "We Are Your Enemies… Until The Day Jesus… Descends, Fighting You And Calling To Join Islam"

Recently, MEMRI TV released a clip of a speech by Sheikh Safwat Higazi that aired on Hamas Al-Aqsa TV on December 31, 2008, in which the sheikh said: "Being killed... is what we desire and hope for. It is martyrdom, by Allah... I wish I could stand among the youth of the Al-Qassam Brigades, passing them one of their missiles, wiping from their faces the dust of a missile that was launched, or crying 'Allah Akbar' along with them... Dispatch those sons of apes and pigs to the Hellfire, on the wings of the Qassam rockets... Jihad is our path... The [Jews]... deserve to be killed. They deserve to die. Destroy... everything over there" (to view this clip, visit http://www.memritv.org/clip/en/1972.htm).

According to the Lebanese Daily Star, Safwat Higazi is founder and secretary-general of Dar Al-Ansar for Islamic Affairs,(1) and in January 2008 headed a 21-vehicle relief convoy bound for Gaza with medical and food supplies and blankets but was stopped by Egyptian police.(2) On December 24, 2008, he issued a fatwa that anyone who denies the Sunna is an infidel and crazy, and must be killed.(3)

On January 4, 2009, Sheikh Higazi responded to MEMRI's releases, on Al-Nas TV (to view this clip, visit http://www.memritv.org/clip/en/1983.htm).

Safwat Higazi: "An Israeli-American organization monitoring Arab media, called MEMRI – or rather, this is its acronym – has accused several prominent Muslim clerics and sheikhs from Arab TV channels, including Dr. Sallah Sultan and Sheikh Safwat Higazi, of incitement to the killing of the Jews and to hatred of the U.S.

"This is a great honor for us. Yes, I am an antisemite. Yes, I hate Zionism. Yes, Judgment Day will not come until we fight the Jews. These are the words of our Prophet, like it or not."[...]

"Yes, We Hate Them... If Our Rulers Let Us, We Would Catch You in the Street... [And] Devour You With Our Teeth"
"Yes, we are enemies of these people. We are enemies of all those who plunder our land and our rights, and we are enemies of the American government, and of whoever helps our enemies in the killing of our brothers. We are enemies of whoever helps our enemies – America and all the others.

"Yes, we hate them. Yes, we are hostile to them. By Allah, only our rulers prevent us from getting to you. By Allah, if they let us, we would devour you completely, and we would bite you with our teeth. We would not wait for weapons, for RPGs, or for bullets. If our rulers let us, we would catch you in the street, and we would devour you with our teeth.

"Yes, we are your enemies, and we will continue to be your enemies, until the day Jesus son of Mary descends, fighting you and calling to join Islam, the religion of the Prophet Muhammad."

a joke

What happens when a fly falls into a cup of coffee?

The Italian - throws the cup, breaks it, and walks away in a fit of rage.

The German - carefully washes the cup, sterilizes it and makes a new cup of coffee.

The Frenchman - takes out the fly, and drinks the coffee.

The Chinese - eats the fly and throws away the coffee.

The Russian - Drinks the coffee with the fly, since it was extra with no charge.

The Israeli - sells the coffee to the Frenchman, the fly to the Chinese, buys a cup of tea and uses the extra money to invent a device that prevents flies from falling into coffee cups.

The Palestinian - blames the Israeli for the fly falling in his coffee, protests the act of aggression to the UN, takes a loan from the European Union to buy a new cup of coffee, uses the money to purchase explosives and then blows up the coffee house where the Italian, the Frenchman, the Chinese, the German and the Russian are all trying to convince the Israeli that he should give away his cup of tea to the Palestinian.

A View from the Target Zone

by Haim Harari

January 2009

These words are written a short distance away from the most northern hit, so far, of the Hamas missiles, which are methodically aimed only at civilian population in Israel. You may refer to this message as "A View from the Target Zone".

For eight years, approximately 5000 rockets have been sent deliberately into Israeli population centers, by the Hamas terrorists. The rockets are extremely inaccurate. The good news is that they often hit an empty field. The bad news is that, when they do hit buildings and people, they kill, maim and destroy. It is a very ugly game of Iranian Roulette.

But the most significant fact is that the undisputed purpose of the rockets is to kill civilians in a random manner. Since they miss entire towns, they could not possibly be aimed at military or strategic targets. No claim is made by the Hamas of anything other than a deliberate attempt to kill civilians within Israel. The world knows about the rockets but rarely mentions that they are aimed only at the civilian population and at nothing else.

The Hamas consistently refers to Israel itself as "the occupied territory". It refers to any town in Israel as an "illegal settlement". Its declared aim is to destroy Israel. It has proudly endorsed, initiated and sent numerous suicide murderers into Israeli buses, supermarkets, shopping malls, weddings and other crowded places. It explicitly states that it will continue to do so. Since Israel succeeded in preventing the suicide murders by a combination of the protective wall, other defensive measures and good intelligence penetration, the missiles became the preferred way of killing Israeli civilians.

Hamas is declared to be a terrorist organization, not only by Israel, not only by the US, but also by the European Union, who is not suspected of being pro-Israeli. This is the same European Union that refuses to label the Hizbullah as a terror organization, but repeatedly and officially declares the Hamas as such. Hamas is fully funded and largely controlled by Iran, a country openly and totally committed to the destruction of Israel, while continuing to enjoy trade with much of the western world.

The Hamas media, and especially its independent TV station, carry daily children programs (including programs for kindergarten age) depicting the Jews (and not only the Israelis) as pigs, dogs, scum of the earth and creatures that must be killed. One of these program features a rabbit which eats Jews. There is plenty of documentation of these programs, including animations and programs with child presenters. Major western news media never report on this phenomenon, while some of them publish op-ed pieces by declared Hamas leaders.

The favorite hour of launching the daily Hamas rockets during the last eight years was 7:45 in the morning, but only on weekdays. Why? Because this is the time in which the streets are full of Israeli children, on their way to school. No one wants to waste rockets when no children are in the streets, during the weekend.

Eight year old children in the Israeli town of Sderot, a few miles from the Gaza border, live, since they were born, with these rockets. They know no other life. When the alarm sounds, they have exactly 15 seconds to reach an improvised cover. Eighth grade children, age 13, have never gone to school, since kindergarten, without the real threat of having a rocket hit them on the way. Their parents have never felt safe about sending their child to school. It is very difficult for anyone living in a normal safe place, to imagine what it means to send your child to school, every single day, for eight years, with the fear that he or she may never reach school because of a missile attack, aimed at killing the children. The world seems to accept this.

Israel withdrew from the Gaza strip in 2005. Not one Israeli soldier or civilian remained there. Everything was ready for the people of Gaza to start a new life and economic development. There was no blockade, border crossings were open. Instead came increased shooting of rockets into Israel, a Hamas coup, throwing Fatah Palestinians from roofs of buildings to their death and torturing their own people in their prisons. It is regrettable that Israel did not react with full force to the very first rockets after its withdrawal from Gaza, but there was always the naïve illusion that perhaps talks, discussions, verbal threats and temporary closings of the border crossings, might do the job. What Israel did not take into account was that Iran, directly or through Hizbullah, was paying the Hamas operatives, per rocket launch.

Through the elaborate system of tunnels dug by the Hamas under the Gaza-Egypt border, thousands of tons of explosives and larger and better Iranian missiles have been continuously smuggled into Gaza. The Israeli Government stupidly agreed in mid 2008, to a six-month cease fire. During the "mock cease fire", many rockets were launched into Israel by a variety of real and fictitious Palestinian organizations, with a clear Hamas sub-license, pretending that the Hamas itself is observing the cease fire.

In the meantime, the Hamas could successfully prepare for the next round. It acquired Iranian rockets that were equally inaccurate, but carried larger warheads, had a longer range and contained numerous tiny still balls, in order to increase the civilian casualties over a larger radius. Again, the inaccuracy of the rockets guaranteed that they could only be sent into random civilian targets. But now the rocket range covered a population of close to one million Israelis and the damage is much more significant.

Larger and better rockets were now stored in mosques, schools, hospitals and normal apartment buildings. Mortars were added to the menu of shooting at Israeli civilians. Schools financed by the UN were used in order to launch mortar shells and missiles. The greenhouses left intact by the withdrawing Israelis were destroyed, their metal parts were converted to primitive rockets and their locations became favorite launching areas. Launching rockets at the Israeli population brings a much better income than growing strawberries and flowers in greenhouses.

Whenever Israel opened the border crossings to supply Gaza with basic food and fuel, the Hamas was attempting to blow up the crossing points. Providing too much food and fuel would disturb the flourishing black market totally controlled by the Hamas chiefs and their allies. It would also spoil their propaganda machine. Most supplies were transported through the tunnels from Egypt, under Hamas auspices, creating a lucrative business for the Hamas "families".

The absurd notion that Israel must supply fuel, electricity, food and medication to an outlaw region controlled by a terror organization, became a permanent mantra in the western media. Israel was supposed to provide the Hamas with raw materials for the rockets launched at its citizens, with electricity for the machinery used to produce these rockets, with food for its designers and manufacturers, and with building materials in order to construct safe bunkers for the Hamas leadership under schools and hospitals. On one hand the Hamas was claimed to have been the legitimate democratically elected government of the majority of the population and on the other hand the population, that allegedly elected these thugs, was declared innocent and suffering. The inconsistency was never pointed out.

Once the border crossing was closed, as a result of the repeated Hamas attacks, the international game of a "humanitarian crisis" was successfully played, with full cooperation of the western media. Famous incidents included photographs of poor Gaza residents with candles and (allegedly) no electricity, staged behind black curtains in full outside daylight (visible through cracks between the curtains). Most western media happily used these fake pictures and, when the lie was exposed, never mentioned it. Hamas leaders were never lacking food, fuel, electricity, luxurious private vehicles and all amenities of well to do black market profiteers.

Very few western journalists remained in Gaza, after several were kidnapped by the Hamas. Almost all reports to western media come from Palestinians, who are either sympathetic to Hamas, or afraid of it, or openly active in its ranks, or all of the above. The reader of the New York Times, or the viewer of a European TV network, never notices who provides him or her with the news. All photographs, both stills and videos, are provided by Palestinian operatives, who would stop at nothing in order to support the propaganda machine. On western TV, Hamas rockets are launched only from empty fields, never from a school or a crowded neighborhood, as it is in real life.

United Nation sources in Gaza are often quoted, condemning Israel for the "Humanitarian Crisis". But these sources are normally employees of UNRWA, the UN agency that, since 1948, makes every effort to perpetuate the "refugee" status of the great-grandchildren of the 1948 refugees. The grandparents of these "refugees" were displaced 60 years ago by a distance of a 20 minute drive and were never resettled because they were receiving free food from the UN. The UN objected vehemently to any attempt at settling the refugees, their children and grandchildren. The few real refugees, who remain alive today, and are 80 year old, were 18 year old when they were displaced. All the terrorists are third or fourth generation "refugees" held as such, courtesy of UNRWA.

These UN organizations employ, by their own admission, numerous active Hamas members. When the latter make statements on behalf of "UN sources in Gaza", the Palestinian journalists never mention to us who these "UN sources" are. The public gets the impression that these are truthful objective sources, while being fed with standard Hamas lies. Western media never disclose to us that the jobs of these people depend on perpetuating the misery of the so-called "refugees".

A Headmaster and science teacher of one of the UNRWA schools in Gaza was a leader in the rocket industry of the Islamic Jihad, a satellite terror organization in Gaza, collaborating with Hamas. The UN strongly denied the Israeli accusations that they are employing such a person, until the man was killed by Israel and was eulogized by his friends as a leader of the Islamic Jihad and a designer of rockets.

When Israeli truck drivers were bringing the humanitarian supplies to Gaza, during the period of Hamas rocket fire, they were frequently attacked by Hamas. At least one Israeli truck driver, supplying the Palestinians, was deliberately murdered. No protest was launched by the UN. But, when during the current fighting, an Arab truck driver, employed by the UN, was accidentally killed, the UN became indignant and stopped all its "humanitarian" activity in protest, to the tune of loud denunciations from all "UN sources".

The Israeli defense forces monitor every detail of this fantasyland by using airborne drones and by a very successful intelligence penetration of the Hamas ranks. They know which apartment building serves as a missile storage place, the addresses and phone numbers of Hamas leaders, which school serves as an ammunition depot, etc.

When the six-month "ceasefire" ended, in mid December, Hamas refused to continue it, launching 90 rockets into Israeli towns and villages in one day. In retrospect, this has prevented a much more dangerous future situation. Had there been an additional "ceasefire", Hamas would have acquired rockets covering all of Israel and possibly much more accurate Iranian missiles. The Iranian supply line of explosives and weapons, together with the flourishing business of smuggled goods, went through the tunnels under the Gaza-Egypt border with efficiency and regularity. Had such efficiency been attempted in improving the lives of the Palestinians in Gaza, the entire Middle East would have been an entirely different place. But, coupled with the weapon smuggling, it was essential to create the charade of the "Humanitarian Crisis".

During the current operation, when the Israeli Air Force wants to blow up a house which serves as a missile storage, Israel phones every family in the house and gives them 15 minutes to evacuate. The Hamas is then sending the women and children to the roof of the building in order to prevent the Israeli aircraft from making the kill. Israel has now developed a tiny arrow-like missile which can be sent to the corner of the roof, making a loud noise and harming no one, in order to scare away the women and children on the roof, before the real bomb destroys the missile collection or the explosive storage place. Often, the women and children used by the Hamas as a human shield, escape and the house is then blown up, with a spectacular secondary explosion of the stored missiles or other war materials. On other occasions, a Hamas person gets to the roof and prevents the women and children from leaving. In those cases, the operation is not completed by the Israeli Air Force, in order to spare civilian lives, at the risk of having the rockets launched into Israel on the following day.

Never in history, has any country made such an enormous effort to avoid civilian casualties, in fighting against murderers who target only civilians and never anything else. No one in Kosovo, Serbia, Georgia or Iraq, was offered such a courtesy by the bombing and attacking powers. This fact is never mentioned by the western media.

Many of the heroic commanders of the Hamas are hiding in the central hospital of Gaza, in an elaborate network of bunkers, trusting that Israel will not attack the hospital. Hamas spokesmen issue proclamations from the maternity ward of the same hospital, knowing that Israel will not hit them there. Ironically, of all non-Israelis, the Hamas leaders are the only ones who know for sure that Israel never deliberately hurts civilians. They exploit this fact. The rest of the world buys the Hamas lies and blames Israel for hurting civilians.

Repeated claims of "humanitarian crisis" are made from the same hospital. The doctors in charge never tell us that the hiding leaders of the Hamas are using them and the patients as human shields. Whether the doctors are only scared or are deliberate accomplices, we do not know. Probably some are active Hamas members and others are justifiably scared to speak up. We never hear a word from the International Red Cross regarding the use of the hospitals as the headquarters of terror leaders.

One of the most horrible "impartial" testimonies on the humanitarian situation, in the hospital, is delivered repeatedly to the western media by a "Norwegian Doctor" serving there. The man is well known from his 2001 interviews with Norwegian TV, in which he explicitly supported and justified the 9/11 attacks. Needless to say, none of the networks who bring us the righteous doctor, mention this. He is just "A Norwegian Doctor" attending to the wounded.

Palestinian ambulances are routinely used to move terrorists around. This has also been the Palestinian practice in the West Bank during the terror wave in 2001-2002. An ambulance is an ideal method of transporting a suicide murderer across check points. In the unlucky case that the criminal is caught, there is at least a good press photograph of the ugly Israelis attacking or stopping an ambulance. It is a win-win situation. If an ambulance full of healthy Hamas terrorists and explosives is hit from the air, the pictures are even better for the western media and for Al Jazeera.

Several Hamas leaders are moving around Gaza surrounded by children, and often holding a child on their arms. There are well documented cases in which Hamas terrorists were pulling reluctant children by their ears to accompany them when they move from one building to another. None of this is mentioned by the western media.

Several Mosques, which were used as ammunition dumps, were destroyed by Israel. In every one of these cases, the air photographs showed a primary explosion, from the air missile or bomb, and a much bigger secondary explosion, from the stored missiles or other explosives in the mosque. The secondary explosion is an absolute clear proof of what was hidden at the mosque. The normal beautiful carpets in a mosque would not create a secondary explosion. Western media have these videos, but rarely show them or mention their existence.

But the same western media repeatedly show the pictures of injured or dead children, some of whom were indeed accidentally injured or killed by the Israeli attacks on military and terror targets, and some are obviously fake pictures with red paint smeared on children faces. At least in one case, the same child, obviously painted and not injured, has been paraded in front of various TV cameras by several different men, each declared to be his father by a different network.

Children and innocent civilians are, indeed, killed and injured, in spite of all the enormous precautions and efforts of the Israeli forces. This is truly tragic. But the only alternative for Israel is to sit still, absorb the thousands of missiles on its civilian population and wait for bigger, deadlier and longer range missiles to start destroying everything in Israel. Israel is offered a choice between a complete national suicide, on one hand, and an attack on the terrorists, with extraordinary measures to avoid civilian casualties, but with the knowledge that such casualties must occur when the other side is using children as human shields, storing explosives in mosques, shooting mortars from schools and hiding the perpetrators in hospitals.

Most Hamas terrorists hide in safe bunkers, leaving their families in the war zone. They are happy to fight to the last Palestinian civilian, not to the last Hamas terrorist. Women and children are moving within the battlegrounds, with Hamas snipers shooting, using them as cover. The women and children are not allowed into the limited space of the Hamas bunkers. More than once, a woman is observed carrying a suicide belt. Israeli soldiers, who are trying to help these women to move safely away from the fighting area, are at a very serious risk of a suicide murder.

When the Hamas terrorists are killed, they are counted by the "UN Sources" as civilians. That is how the "UN sources" reach the huge numbers of dead civilians they are reporting. Interestingly, Al Jazeera almost never shows dead bodies of young males, and the western media, being fed by Palestinian stringers, follow suit.

The Hamas TV ("Al Aksa TV") and Al Jazeera show, 24 hours a day, repeated video clips with loud music, showing injured bloody children, including some body parts. Some injuries are real, some are not, but the videos are shown nonstop between every two news items. The news items themselves are often lies, but that really does not matter. What do matter are the video clips, edited like commercials, brainwashing a worldwide audience and a new generation of future terror sympathizers.

A video taken several years ago in Gaza, surfaced. The video documents an accidental explosion of a Hamas truck, carrying a large number of missiles, among celebrating Palestinians somewhere in Gaza. Many were killed and injured in this accident, and the pictures were devastating. There is no Israeli involvement whatsoever, and the event happened a few years ago. European networks, including France 2, are showing it now as evidence for the current "criminal" behavior of Israel. The French channel apologized later, but the number of people who heard the apology is significantly fewer than those who saw the horrible pictures and believed the lies. In this case, at least, the hoax was delivered by the Hamas and France 2 was apparently the victim, not the perpetrator, as it definitely was in well known previous cases.

Israel opens the border crossings daily, during the fighting, in order to provide basic food ingredients and medication to the civilian population. No one can remember such a gesture in any other war in history, certainly not toward the side that attacks only civilians and repeatedly announces that its only aim is to totally annihilate its opponent. Most of the supplies are captured by the Hamas terrorists and used for their own troops and their flourishing black market, never providing them in an organized way to the population. "UN sources" claim that not enough food is transmitted.

That the Hamas murderers use these tactics, lies and methods, is not at all surprising. That the international community, with all its investigative reporters, swallows these lies so eagerly, without exposing them, is something which demands an explanation.

My response to Bacevich anti-israel article in the Boston Globe

By Dr. M. Nazarathy

The lessons of Gaza

By Andrew J. Bacevich -January 08, 2009

If Obama fails to grasp the essential lessons of the Iraeli-Palestinian conflict, the nation's own bloody chronicle of uprisings, incursions, invasions, and tit-for-tat retaliation will continue.

MY RESPONSE AS POSTED WITH THE BOSTON GLOBE on Jan 8th

"Rather than enhancing Israeli security, occupation has produced a never-ending war of attrition" the historian said.

The "mantra" of occupation is so entrenched with these "historians" that when Israeli occupation ends and aggression from the freed areas intensifies, they just ignore or suppress it -as it does not fit their theory.

This is true of both Gaza and Lebanon which have been freed of occupation! Give me one reason why Hizballa should have been justified to attack after Israel pulled out of Lebanon six years ago. Give me one reason why Hamas should ballistically terrorize southern Israel for three years after Gaza was handed the keys to manage its own - and don't say - as they do - because Gaza has been under siege - as the siege is the direct result of their attacks and constant military buildup by Iranian weapons smuggling, rather than the cause of these attacks.

Well, I shall give you the obvious reason - which appears nowhere in your learned piece - they have a fanatic ideology of Jihad against Christians and Jews - with the Jews being the more accessible target - same ideology shared by AlQaeda and Iran.

Let me remind you, Mr. Bacevich, that the world hailed when Israel retreated from Gaza 3 years ago. Gaza was about to become the Singapore of the Mid East as the wealthy Arab states were preparing to pour heaps of money into it, but then Hamas took over (which we owe to Bush's insistence on "democracy") and threw it into a dark age of Islamic extremism.

Israel said back then when it pulled out Gaza: "We dismantled our settlements in Gaza - we are out - but if you shoot at us from the area we vacated, we shall hit back with all our might" but never made true on its promise - until now.

The Israelis have no choice. They have been under attack almost every single day since they pulled out of Gaza in 2005. Innocent people have been maimed and killed, terrorized, their lives disrupted, day after day, month after month, year after year women, children, civilians. The Israelis finally said – enough is enough, but prior to that they tried one last ceasefire, which as you know, lasted a few months, the number of rockets went down to single digit (that’s considered a “ceasefire” in this area) but about a month ago Hamas put an end to it and started sending 40-80 rockets a day into Israel.

Every decent human being should accept that the only reason to go to war is to REMOVE A PRESENT OR IMMINENT DANGER, TO PREVENT A MUCH WORSE WAR.
But isn’t it precisely the case here? We don’t have the hedonistic luxury some European leaders do, to agree to their calls for immediate ceasefire, just for the sake of getting a bit of quiet here and now. Not that haven’t tried it, we have practiced the tenuous art of restraint for three year, ignoring the suffering of our population, acting militarily on a small scale, negotiating temporary lulls to be repeatedly violated by Hamas (I think this restraint was a mistake, costing many more lives on both sides at this point).

When we pulled out of Gaza three years ago, we told you, we told the Palestinians that if they follow us with fire from the area pulled out from, we shall hit back with all our might. You nodded understandingly, agreed that we have the legitimacy of elementary self-defense, but you now pretend that you forgot. It is easy to be a bleeding heart for civilians on the other side when it is not your own family that is at risk, but what would you do if you were in our place? In fact what have you been doing in Iraq, and if you believe the US should not have been there, then what about Afganistan, and why are you hunting Ben-Laden while incurring at least tenfold "collateral" damage of innocent civilians. So keep writing articles disapproving of us fighting our own Ben-Ladens.

President elect Obama said it correctly after visiting the Israeli town of Shderot that if his two daughters were there and were being attacked he’d would use all the resources at his command to protect them. Would you expect the same for your daughters? Well, as an Israeli whose life is on the line, that's exactly what I expect of my government.

This is a clear case of terrorism, you saw that they attacked in Mombai, they attacked in Bally, AlQaeda struck New-York City twice. If the terrorists win in Gaza they will be emboldened to attack even harder everywhere else, Boston included.

Fw: Where's the Academic Outrage Over the Bombing of a University in Gaza ? Shame on You

Subject: [Fwd: Fw: Where's the Academic Outrage Over the Bombing of a
University in Gaza ? Shame on You]

Dear SPME (Scholars for Peace in the Middle East) people

Are you aware of the deceitful campaign of the terrorist organization
El-Kassam, claiming that the Gaza university was targeted by Israeli
airstrikes?

All our EE faculty here at the Technion was broadcasted this deceitful mail,
and I assume many more academics in Europe and the UK have been administered
this distorted propaganda.

The facts are that the airstrikes at the "University" were directed at the
rockets stockpiles and the Explosives and Rockets Laboratory located on
campus, where ballistic terrorist weapons were being perfected.

Perhaps Yair, from the Israeli Foreign Ministry, cc-ed can provide more
facts.

We in the academia in Israel have greatly appreciated your resistance to the
immoral boycott of Israeli academics in the UK.
I hope you continue to be active the cause of peace during the current
Israeli campaign against the Forces of Darkness.

As you people at SPME have the mailing lists of many European and all
British academics, this deceitful campaign on the alleged targeting of an
"academic" institution in Gaza must be counteracted with the facts.

Thanks
Prof. Moshe Nazarathy

by H. Gelbendorf

Our heart bleeds every time an innocent gets hurt. No matter if he is Palestinian or Israeli. This is the exact reason Israel went into this war.... The suffering of civilians by the terrorizing brutal forces of the Hamas. The blood is on the sarcastic hands of the Hamas!
Hamas is not a freedom organization that takes terror actions as means to an end...
It does not care about the Palestinians.
Hamas is an organization that was created to eliminate Israel from the face of earth.
The best and most powerful weapon that Hamas has is the public opinion weapon. It uses it time after time...
The way it works:
1. Through continues terror attacks on civilian population, Hamas brings Israel's restraint to the tipping point.
2. It uses public institutes, schools, religious centers, hospitals and etc. as launching pads, ammunition storage, etc.
3. Israel attacks, but the Hamas troops are hiding well in their shelters
4. Int' public opinion is forcing Israel to quit- while Hamas keeps attacking!

AN EXCELENT ARTICLE IN THE “BOSTON GLOBE” By Jeff Robins

ARTICLE IN THE “BOSTON GLOBE” By Jeff Robins
LAST MONTH'S commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights provided the occasion to ask difficult questions about societies whose political leadership serially violates them. What, for instance, is to be done about places like Darfur or Zimbabwe, or any one of a multitude of places governed by leaders whose consciences appear untouched by the suffering they are causing? To the list of grotesque human rights violators must be added Hamas, whose disdain for the suffering its policies cause the Palestinian residents of the Gaza Strip is exceeded only by its open, and even proud, infliction of atrocities on Israeli civilians.

This year alone, Hamas, which expressly calls for the obliteration of Israel, has launched approximately 3,000 rockets and mortar bombs into Israeli civilian centers, always for the purpose of killing and maiming Israelis if possible, and terrifying those who are not actually hit. In the last week or so, Hamas has fired some 200 rockets and bombs into Israeli communities.
Under these circumstances - circumstances which would have continued without end had the Israelis failed to act - it seems clear that the Israeli military response was not merely a necessary one. It was, regrettably, the only one left.
Israeli author Amos Oz, whose call for peace with the Palestinians is shared by a majority of Israelis, succinctly described the brutalization of Israeli civilians in terms that cannot fairly be disputed. In a recent piece entitled "Israel Must Defend Its Citizens," the longtime advocate for reconciliation between Palestinians and Israelis wrote: "The systematic bombing of the citizens in Israel's towns and cities is a war crime and a crime against humanity."
Oz is correct. But it isn't only Israelis whose fundamental human rights Hamas is violating. It is those of the Palestinian population about whose welfare Hamas professes to care.
In direct contravention of international law, Hamas uses Palestinian civilians as human shields, utilizing homes, schools and community centers as launching pads, content in the knowledge that if innocent Palestinian civilians are caught in the cross-fire, it will be Israel that is criticized. This amounts to a sort of Daily Double of human rights violations: the use of innocent Palestinians as human shields for the infliction of violence upon innocent Israelis.
It is Hamas that perfected the use of the suicide bomb, by which young Palestinians were induced to kill themselves so that Israelis could also be killed. It is somehow apt that Hamas should be forever associated with the suicide bomb, for in a larger sense Hamas has proved to be an instrument of the demise of Palestinians in Gaza.
Hamas's persistent call for the annihilation of Israel through jihad, its unequivocal rejection of any peace with Israel under any circumstances, its seizure of Gaza through a coup d'etat, its repression of women and freedom of expression, and its embrace of Iran have all disgusted the international community, which will have little to do with it. Hamas has likewise repelled numerous Arab governments, which might otherwise have been expected to dip into their ample reserves of petrodollars to provide much-needed aid and foreign investment to Gaza, but which have steered clear of it.
Thus Hamas leads the Gazan population on a kamikaze course. The suffering of Gazans cannot conceivably be a genuine concern of the leadership, given the perpetuation of that suffering for which Hamas is responsible. And the suffering of Israelis is its avowed goal.
Whether it was South Africa or Sudan, the international community has understood that the way to deal with truly egregious human rights violators is not to placate them, but to speak the truth about them, and to them. If the truth is spoken plainly enough, and forcefully enough, to a Hamas leadership whose cruelty and callousness have reached alarming levels, it may be that the Palestinians and Israelis alike may be spared further suffering of the kind to which they have been relegated in the past.

FINK RESPONSE
The view of an Israeli academic:
It is inevitable that Israel address the existential threat from the Iranian-backed terrorist state - "Hamastan" - pouring ballistic fire into Israel, digging tunnels across the border to smuggle in homicide bombers and kidnap soldiers - having delayed our action for three years and having acted indecisively now costs many more lives on both sides (but still far less than if the action were to be further postponed).
Even though the death statistics on the Israeli side are low, whole cities are paralyzed and rendered dis-functional as people duck for cover several times a day, families living in terror under the random roulette selecting whether or not it is their turn to get maimed and killed or have their property destroyed, each time sirens wail. If you were personally under such attack in your own city here in the UK, would you expect your government to consult Mr. Fisk's irrelevant historical digression or would you expect it to act vigorously?

The UNRA school – tens of Gazan civilians dead. The killers identity: Immad & Hassan Abu Askar, a Hamas mortar team. The weapon: Israeli Mortar.

By Dr. M. Nazarathy

Here are the facts, as uncovered by the Shin-Beit a few hours after the incident: The two terrorists named above, a Hamas mortars team from a well known Hamas family situated themselves on the roof of the school, which was packed with civilians taking refuge from the fighting, and fired their mortars at an Israeli paratroop force. The force returned fire, also by mortar (most likely unaware of the identity of the place they have been fired upon), and hit the Hamas team and inadvertently the civilians. The death of the two terrorists who hijacked the school and caused the civilians’ deaths was also confirmed.

120% Hamas responsibility. Just one of an endless number of incidents, endemic on a vast scale, in which the Hamas has been taking hostage, abusing and causing the death of the very civilians it is supposed to govern and protect. Shocking examples:

1. Hamas is stealing humanitarian aid, in particular intercepted the flour and medicine of yesterday’s convoy inserted through Israel’s border, diverting supplies (intended for the population for free) to its militant needs and reselling supply at high price to the desperate inhabitants.

2. Senior Hamas terrorists drag kids by their ears to shield themselves, as they transit through the alleys, in order not to be targeted by the Israeli helicopter gunships.

3. The civil rule of Hamas has virtually disappeared. There is absolutely nothing done by them to aid the population in its plight, all Hamas members including those who were responsible for civilian operations have gone underground. Hamas has completely abandoned its duty as the “government” (recall that two years ago Hamas staged a coup-de-etat, in the course of which it murdered 161 Fatah members and took over as Gaza’s “government”).

4. The only interaction with the population is to deploy them as human shields. Another example: Hamas set roadblocks preventing the population from fleeing South, so as to get the civiliansin the way of the fighting which is concentrated in the North.

5. While people are still afraid to go publicly against Hamas (where, on Hamas TV?), the level of frustration of against Hamas is on the rise. Palestinian sources claim that there is growing resentment against Hamas, which is perceived as having caused the destruction of Gaza on the altar of Iranian interests. While naturally resentment against Israel is very strong, alongside it, it is apparent that Hamas is losing its most important asset – the projection of its image as a social movement which represents the interests of its people.

6. An example from the first week of the war, during the air campaign, as aired on Hamas TV (footage available). An Israeli bomb struck a “mosquegrad” (a mosque used to store Grad missiles), and an 11 years old girl came out of a neighboring building, raffled but unscathed. The Hamas TV reporter asked her in Arabic “who is responsible?”. With a child’s candor she said: “Hamas is”. Needless to say the interview which barely started went off the air…

7. Hamas is striving to exaggerate and magnify the dimension of the humanitarian crisis in the hope that the world will pressure Israel into stopping its just fight. A grotesque example: it is uncovering the bodies of its dead terrorists and cladding them in civilian clothes and bringing them to hospitals in order to artificially increase the civilian dead count.

How an Israeli academic - professor of Electrical Engineering - sees things

By Dr. M. Nazarathy
1: Who remembers that the world hailed when Israel retreated from Gaza 3 years ago? Gaza was about to become the Singapore of the Mid East as the wealthy Arab states were preparing to pour heaps of money into it, but then Hamas took over (which we owe to Bush's insistence on "democracy") and threw it into an age Islamic extremism.

2: Israel said back then when it left Gaza: "We dismantled our settlements in Gaza - we are out - but if you shoot at us from the area we vacated, we shall hit back with all our might" but never made true on its promise - until now.

3: Hamas also poses a direct and immediate threat to the stability of the Egyptian regime, through its alliance with the "Moslem Brothers"
militant opposition and Iran. If you listen to Mubarak, beyond lip service comments on Israel's action, there is scathing criticism of how Hamas prompted the current crisis by violating the last six-month ceasefire pouring volleys of hundreds of rockets on Israeli civilians days before the action - which left Israel no choice but to act.

4: It is inevitable that Israel address this existential threat from the Iranian-backed terrorist state - "Hamastan" - pouring ballistic fire into Israel, digging tunnels across the border to smuggle in homicide bombers and kidnap soldiers - having delayed our action for three years and having acted indecisively now costs many more lives on both sides (but still far less than if the action were to be further postponed).
Why? Since Hamas increased the area coverage of its rockets by a factor of 16 under the cover of the last ceasefire, turning now the lives of
3/4 of a million Israelis into living hell.

5. Even though the death statistics on the Israeli side are low, whole cities are paralyzed and rendered dis-functional as people duck for cover several times a day, families living in terror under the random roulette selecting whether or not it is their turn to get maimed and killed or have their property destroyed, each time sirens wail. The world keeps counting the casualty scores, which luckily is lower on our side but this is no life for us. In particular, in the Israeli villages and towns bordering Gaza a whole generation of Israeli kids has grown disturbed, traumatized by years of repeated and continual exposure to the Hamas bombardments targeting them.

5. If left unchecked Hamas was projected to reach Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem with its ballistic terror as soon as the next wave advanced Iranian supplies made it in, as the siege of Gaza has been imperfect and increasingly more sophisticated rockets already got smuggled in, increasing the ballistic range and destructive power of the blast. That means that if Israel did not act now, it would have had to act within a year or so with tenfold might in order to address this existential threat to itself and to the stability of the whole Middle East.

6. I view it as the utmost responsibility of my government to protect my fellow citizens, and I have been personally appalled that action has not been taken sooner - but better late than later.

A viewpoint of an Israeli academic

By Dr. M. Nazarathy

A viewpoint of an Israeli academic.

With all due respect, I bet Mr. Beaumont has never experienced a real threat to his life, let alone from Arab or Islamic terrorism. As an Israeli - in Haifa, in the North - I have. Back in 2002 bombs exploded on the bus on the Moria Blvd. which my children used to board to go to the Reali school (fortunately they were not on that bus (the learned Mr.
Beaumont would say "what's the problem the statistical odds are low"
aren't they), and then the restaurants Maxim and Matza which we sometimes frequented were in turn blown to pieces, incurring about two dozen dead each.

Back then I wondered every day when my wife would go out shopping and my kids would go to school, if they were to return, but this is beyond the empathy of callous people. Operation Defensive Shield put an end to the homicide bombing terror. That Israeli action was deemed useless by Beaumont, but it might have saved our insignificant lives.

Three years ago we personally experienced ballistic terror during the Lebanon war, for a few weeks, when the other terrorist organization (Hizballa), the one based in Lebanon continually fired missiles at our city, so we know what the people in the south are now going through. Due to electro-optic detection there was early warning (in Haifa it was about 40 seconds), so we knew that the missiles were coming - it was horrible to run to the shelter in those forty seconds, and then lock the door and start counting down (as if waiting for a torpedo to hit or miss in a submarine, if you saw one of these movies), wondering if the incoming missile is destined to fall onto our head and wipe out our family or or not. Then you hear the boom, and the shelter (a concrete fortified room in our home, which would not sustain a direct hit, but might protect from an indirect hit - or so we hoped) vibrates from the landing of the missile if it is close by. But Beaumont would not blink under the circumstances, would he?

Now it is the turn of the south of our country, more than half a million of our fellow citizens, who are precisely under this kind of attack.
Realize that although statistically the chance of being hit is low, still hundreds of thousands of Israelis lives have become unbearable, and all these people, whole cities, are being psychologically wounded. In fact a whole generation of young Israeli children, living around Gaza have grown deranged psychologically, suffering from nightmares, fears, and attention deficit disorders, as they have grown with this existential threat since they were born.

Who remembers that the world hailed when Israel retreated from Gaza 3 years ago?

The Israelis finally said – enough is enough, but prior to that they tried one last ceasefire, which as you know, lasted a few months, the number of rockets went down to single digit (that’s considered a “ceasefire” in this area) but about three weeks ago Hamas put an end to it and started sending 40-80 rockets a day into Israel.

We are appalled by people who say “well, the response is not proportional”. The fight against terrorism is not a game played by gallant rules. This is a government defending its citizens and I can tell you that if someone attacked the people of Britain would you not expect your government to send in the same number of troops as the number of those who attacked, but we’d send in all the resources necessary to protect us and our fellow citizens, and that is exactly what Israel is doing. In fact, what are you doing in Afghanistan 5000 Km, not 5km away? acting on an imaginary threat?

President elect Obama said it correctly after visiting the Israeli town of Shderot that if his two daughters were there and were being attacked he’d would use all the resources at his command to protect them. Would Beaumont expect the same for his daughters? Would he expect that the British government protect them?.

This is a clear case of terrorism, you saw that they attacked in Mombai, they attacked in Bally, Al-Qaeda struck New-York City twice. If the terrorists win in Gaza they will be emboldened to attack even harder everywhere else. And if they do in Britain - let's hope they don't - maybe Beaumont would display a spark of empathy.

Imagine

By Dr. M. Nazarathy

Before you judge us next time you see a bad image on TV, just imagine - vididly - that in your own city, every day there would be a lottery of 20-30 homes to be blown up, selected at random, and if you got selected you’d have 40 seconds to duck for cover. I bet you would not dismiss it, but your whole life would revolve around it, and you would demand from your own government in the strongest possible terms that the madness be stopped, that the government fullfill its elementary duty of protecting the citizens. Well, that's what we are up to.

You have no idea how much we hate war here in Israel. We have had too many of them, way too often, we are traumatized by them. These wars kill our beloved kids – almost everyone has a son or a relative who is a soldier, whose life is on the line. At wartime our civilian population is attacked with more vengeance than in the usual course of daily terrorism. At wartime the world public opinion gets uncomfortable with disturbing pictures of civilian casualties on the other side, and blames us for it, pressuring us to stop and not achieve our objectives. Hence, the decision to go to war is an unbearable burden on our leaders. Just yesterday, our PM, Olmert, justified himself to the mothers of Israel telling them that we tried everything else and were left with no choice but to put their sons lives at risk.

Remember the last ceasefire? It lasted for six months, to be violated by Hamas some three weeks ago, which started this war, once they renewed shooting some 50-80 rockets a day – and then we restrained ourselves for another week, giving every chance to Egyptian and Turkish diplomacy before finally exercising our right of self-defense.

Most significantly, before the ceasefire the range of the missiles was just 10Km covering the town of Shderot and nearby Kibutzim, but during the ceasefire they increased their rockets capabilities reaching now to 40Km. To those who recall their geometry, that means that the area coverage increased by a factor of 4 squared = 16, now including new cities, a population of half a million in the range. Our fourth largest city, the biblical BeerSheeba has now joined the ballistic terror club.

They used the ceasefire to smuggle advanced arms and develop their missiles capabilities. Another ceasefire with their capabilities left intact, as your "diplomats" wish to force on us, and Hamas is bound to increase the range of the missiles to reach Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem and the Dimona nuclear reactor. It is strategic for our country to remove the threat now. Gaza is not the Folklands, Gaza is our back yard, which has become a gigantic Iranian base, a launching pad for rockets, the only state in the world directly controlled by a terrorist government. We are now straddled by two Iranian forward bases while Iran is developing its nuclear weapons, and if we did not respond to their aggression now, and we would just have absorbed 40-80 missiles a day, and let them further hone their offensive capabilities, the next aggression would inevitably be against Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv, by means of long-range Gaza missiles, an all out-war.
It is easy to be a bleeding heart for civilians on the other side when it is not your own head that is at risk, but what would you do if you were in our place?
In fact what are you doing in Afganistan, which is 5000 Km away, not 5 Km away? Are you not involved in a “disproportionate response” – the dumbest concept I have ever heard from Europeans. I recall well how you felt threatened by the mess in the Balkans, with Nato hitting hard in Kosovo, and inadvertently killing busloads of innocents, so don’t preach to us. In fact, there is no other air-force in the world, working so hard and smart to reduce the collateral damage. You have no idea – I shall tell you about the procedures and technologies another time. Percentage-wise you hit three or four times more innocents in Kosovo than we have in our air campaign. So don’t preach us.

A letter to Khaled Mish'al

by H. Gelbendorf
Comment to article published on the Guardian:
Mish’al, you are the leader of a terror organization. An organization that has made the destruction of Israel it’s primary goal.
It is not the well fare of the Palestinian people or the Arab nation that you and your fellow Hamas terrorists seek. It is the destruction of the only democratic nation in your region.
As part of the terror coalition, with your notorious allies such as Al-Qaeda, Iran, Hezbollah and etc, you have made it clear that you will not cease your fire until you achieve the long term goal- the annihilation of the western culture.
As such you are using every possible tool in your arsenal… and this article is one of those tools as you understand the propaganda war, inside out… it is your strongest weapon.
Hamas has shot thousands of missiles directly into Israeli settlements, since Israel withdrawn its forces from Gaza 3 years ago. By shooting these missiles you had only one thing in mind- drive Israel’s restraint beyond the tipping point. And 10 days ago you managed to do so – and Israel attacked your forces in Gaza.
Why would you invite the Israeli military to attack you? Well it’s all part of your vicious and sarcastic plan… as I said before- we know- and the world should know too- it is not the well fare of your fellow Palestinians that you are seeking… The innocent Palestinians are another tool in your arsenal… maybe the most sarcastic and vicious tool of them all.
You are using the Palestinian people as human shield. Hiding in tunnels underneath their houses, storing weapons within their Masques, hiding within schools and hospitals…
You are inviting the Israelis to attack you, and in the process you are sacrificing the women and children of Palestine.
And from the moment that this war broke the game changed into a waiting game. You keep attacking Israeli citizens with your missiles, making sure that Israel will continue the operation, and trying to keep hanging there until the world will put enough pressure on Israel to stop killing the innocents…
You are hoping that a cease fire will be forced only on Israel, while you keep shooting your missiles, publicly humiliating Israel… but even if the cease fire will be forced on both sides, it wouldn’t be the first time that you will break an international agreement- as a terror organization you are not bound by them anyway- back to square one…
Mish’al,
The blood of the innocent Palestinian people is on your hands
The blood of the innocent Israeli people is on your hands
The world recognizes that!

Your plan will not succeed this time because this time even the Palestinian people are crying outloud against you and your terrorizing ways.
This time the Palestinians are willing to bare the sacrifices and eliminate the cancer called Hamas. Yes it is a painful and life risking treatment, but it is necessary in order to survive.

A quote from today’s Guardian article:
"As I ran I saw three of my children. All dead"
Hazem Balousha in Gaza City and Rory McCarthy in Jerusalem
The Guardian, Published Tuesday 6 January 2009
"Hamas is responsible for this. They are starving us, now they are killing us," he said. "They asked the Israelis to enter but where is the resistance? They are hiding. All the leaders of Hamas are underground. It's just the civilians confronting the Israeli army. I don't like Hamas and I don't want them ruling Gaza."
